Hi all, I am currently installing an LC Torana front end to my 48 Rover chassis (which is my first attempt to build a hot rod ), and
I have noticed that the front end appears to have had the bump stops removed from the suspension towers

I was wondering if they would need to be replaced to be roadworthy / registrable

The pictures in the workshop manual appear to show them as steel brackets with a flat plate at the bottom. Any input greatly appreciated ! Cheers, Rob.
Hi there, well after some research, I have found out that I have an early model LC front end that had the bump stops fitted to the inner guard structure above the sub frame rail, and used the same type of stop as was used on the under side of the upper control arm. Will have to fabricate some method of attatchment, or try to copy the later model type that is part of the upper suspension tower. Cheers, Rob.
