this is my 30-31 pickup, I started with 4 rusty panels- a cowl, 2 doors and a rear panel, I also got
a rough visor in the deal. The chassis is a RodTech Model A, with RodTech independent front suspension,
XF ford disks commodore calipers and commodore rack, 8 inch rear with stainless 4bars and coil-overs,
15 x 5 and 15 x 7 whitewalls. 302 Windsor / C4.

Bonnet and side covers roughed out,
the bonnet was a practice run but has turned out ok.

I have been working on the tail gate and tub

Image
Making hinges, Im not sure if I will use them as I have found some stainless door hinges that may
look cleaner.
Have work out if I will use round 30 Pontiac tail lights on the tail gate or Model A on storks at the
side of the tub.
*UPDATE*-
I have decided not to run the side covers (too smooth)
may not run the hood looks tough with the new headers
and no bonnet or side covers-

Spark ... have you got a pic of those S/S hinges, I can't make up my mind what I'm going to use either.

This is what I have at the moment.

Mate there just 100mm stainless door hinges that I got from Home Hardware – you know like you would use to hang your front door on your house.
 I was thinking of welding in some 8mm plate into the tub and tailgate frame, drilling and taping the holes then using countersunk stainless screws.

What you have got looks good. Are you taillights going in the tailgate or under the tub?
..

I got lots of "flack" about the 302W ... Iv'e had it for over 25 years, it's STD bore :D knew it would come in handy one day 8)
OK on the hinges, I might just paint mine and use S/S button heads. I want to punch some louvers in the tailgate, but haven't been able to find anyone that will do it yet.
Tail lights/Stop lights are S/S re-pro originals, going to be mounted on the guards. 8) ala stock? I just dummied up a S/S ex LPG tank in the bed today .... should look OK when I polish the sucker. :x
