Cowl steering

1986 Toyota HiLux 4x4 has a steering box that works the right way without having to reverse it. but it will need to have the out put shaft extended.

maybe other 4x4 will have one with a longer output shaft?

I will try to put together a post on cowl steering, making a pitman arm and push steering mounted on the chassis rail.

here is one way to use the spline (ed) part of the arm to make one for cowl steering-
