In this document I will go though the process of building a Tri-Power set up on an after market intake.
As part of the build I will cover rebuilding the Rochester 2G carburetors, modification of the two outer carburetors and some info on linkage (s). I have gathered info from car forums, research documents and tech manuals, borrowing some of the words and pictures from a lot of different sources so please excuse me if I have used some of your photos or text.
If you are expecting a lot of technical terms or complex theory on the working of carburetors, you won’t find it here, I have tried to keep it as a guide and simple to follow. Have a read through before you make a start and be aware that some defiance's in parts exist and not everybody will do thing s the same way.

This is the start of my tri-power- 3 ebay carbs, an Edelbrock 3x2 intake, to go on a SBC—283 V8 with Power Glide 2 speed auto.

All the tools you need-

* you may want to get a cheap stubby screwdriver to tighten the power- valve, you will need to cut a slot in the blade of the screwdriver.

Ok lets start by disassembling the carburettor-

Do not remove the throttle blade or choke plate from their shafts.
Their screws are staked after assembly and need to be ground down before removal. Plus the throttle blades fit quite precisely and the mixtures holes drilled accordingly.

after I disassembled the carbs, I sent them off to be hydro blasted -
